This thesis is a comparative review of Xian Shou Fazang(643-

712)’s Huayan Classification of Buddhist teachings and Toeong
Sungchol(1912-1993)’s view of Buddhism. In particular, it deals

with the characteristics of Toeong҆s interpretation of Huayan
Classification and the view of Buddhism appeared at the

Sermon of One Hundred Days(百日法門).
